The foundation focuses on creating vibrant, diverse communities, improving residents' lives, preserving natural resources, assisting vulnerable citizens, and providing opportunities for youth success. Grants are available to tax-exempt organizations within the Ameren Illinois service area.

ELIGIBILITY

501(c)(3) organizations – Charitable groups recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code

Individuals, political organizations or candidates, and religious or similar groups typically do not qualify for this grant.

Location: Ameren Illinois service area, central and southern Illinois (see website for visual map of geographical scope)

Project Scope: Eligible organizations within the service area can apply for funding with detailed project plans (projects in arts, civic, environmental, health, and education sectors, aiming to enhance community life, protect resources, and promote youth success) and budgets to improve quality of life for residents.

FUNDING RESTRICTIONS
