Welcome to Millennial Music Teacher! I’m thrilled you’re here, exploring a platform dedicated to empowering music educators. My journey began in the public school system, where I spent six rewarding years teaching, concluding my classroom career at Hadley Middle School in Homer Glen, IL. With a Bachelor’s degree in K-12 Music Education and a 9-12 Mathematics endorsement from the University of St. Francis, along with an ATS-Type A certification in Information Technology from Eastern Gateway Community College, I’ve always been passionate about integrating education and technology to drive student engagement and growth.

My heart remains deeply connected to music education. I continue to see myself as a music educator with a passion for helping teachers discover resources and tools that meet their classroom goals and budgets. My commitment to student-centered growth, creating inclusive, expressive spaces, and advocating for music technology in classrooms remains central to my work and purpose. Through MMT, I aim to share valuable insights, resources, and funding opportunities to support educators nationwide.

Beyond my professional roles, I find immense joy in performing and directing in local musical theater. Blending my music education background with my love for the stage, I support cast members in learning music and technology to deliver memorable shows.
